Classes are currently under way. Our next series will begin in spring 2012, for mid- to late-summer 2012 due dates.

Please contact us for information on the upcoming class schedule.

My husband Rich and I have arranged our work schedules so that one of us is always at home with our children. I teach part time at Harris Bilingual Immersion school in Ft. Collins. My husband works part time at the CSU College of Engineering.

I believe that this arrangement has benefited me and my family greatly. I love being at home with my boys, and I also love teaching children. Rich and I both find that this balance between work and home energizes us and makes us better, happier people. Our children benefit by having both parents available to them, which I believe is invaluable, especially in the first years of life.

This delicate balance would not be possible without incredibly supportive and family-friendly work environments. It also requires a degree of sacrifice, but we have both found it worth it.

Over the years, we've learned a thing or two about parenting.  If you have questions about using sign language with your baby, drop us a line.  And if you'd like to establish a chore system for your family, you might find some useful information at our site Chores and Checklists.
